We're gonna be putting 'em all on tire size 275/50R22. So always make sure you check your tire to get that right size, so you get the right fit. These chains are gonna have a diamond pattern with square links that go across. So the diamond pattern means there's gonna be more coverage on the tire with that diamond shape, rather than going just straight across. more

Today we're going to be taking a look at our Pewag All Square Snow Tire Chains with Cam Tighteners for wide-based tires on our 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe. They feature these cam tighteners as mentioned in the title and this tool that comes with it just to torque those and get any tension out of the actual chains themselves. It's ladder-style, pattern chain which is gonna give you a lot of bite on starting and stopping. Additionally, they do come composed out of a manganese nickel alloy, which is gonna do great as far as keeping rust, corrosion, weather, things like that out of deteriorating them and they're gonna be great for multiple seasons to come. The links are very large and they're square, as well as you can see, they have these grooved ridges so the square links themselves are gonna give you great bite in some thicker ice and some more inclement conditions as well as the grooves themselves giving you a little bit more surface area and a little bit more bite in those conditions as well. more

How's it going It's Ethan here with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Konig K-Summit Diamond Pattern Tire Chains and how to install them on your 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe. These are Class S certified chains typically used for cars with limited wheel well clearance. Not something that we have to necessarily worry about in this case, but that's what they're typically for. They're diamond pattern, which gives you a smoother ride and easier ability to turn, less in the starting and stopping sense, but definitely a more comfortable ride overall. The chains themselves have square links, which are great for biting in to the ice and snow that you might be running into. more

Today we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install these Glacier Chain twist link snow tire chains with cam tensioners, on our 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe. So this is gonna be a twist link chain. What that means is that the actual links that go across the tire are gonna be twisted. This is gonna make them a little less of a bumpy ride, compared to a square link or a D link that has hard edges. But that does also mean that this won't bite into deep ice as well, just because it's a bit smoother and less aggressive. more

Hi everyone, Aidan here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Konig XG12 Pro snow tire chains on our 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe. These are gonna be a self tensioning tire chain which means that they've got the tensioning device built into it and it's going to be applying constant pressure with this elastic band pulling it tight as we go down the road. So if things are to shift on the tire as we're driving, it's going to be pulling on it constantly to ensure a good snug fit. Let's check it out. What we have here is a diamond pattern tire chain. So, we're going to have these nice diamond patterns going all the way around, and they're gonna be connected with these cross chains so that's gonna be great for turning if you put them on the front, and also on the back it's just gonna get us a little bit more traction than some of those ladder pattern style chains. They are going to be dual-sided D links, and made up manganese nickel alloy steel. So they're going to be extra strong and resist against all that salt and grime and stuff that you'll see on the road with the snow. more

And if we take a quick look at these chains, actually as you can see, they are all square. And basically what this is going to do, there are no V-Bars so they're not going to be clawing really deep into that thick ice and snow. But they are going to give you really good traction in any kind of medium you're going to be working with. Now, keep in mind this isn't going to be as smooth of a ride as some of the smaller chains we do have. more

They sit a little bit higher off our tire, so they are going to be a little bit rougher of a ride, but definitely not near as rough as some of the V-Bar style chains. We are going to have a manganese nickel alloy steel construction, so it is going to resist against rust and corrosion and evenly wear down over time just because of these links here. They are about 5.6 millimeters thick, so again, not the most aggressive, but definitely something that's going to get you unstuck in whatever situation you have. more

What we have here is a chain that is going to self tighten, and it is going to give us a nice diamond pattern. And what I really like about it is we do have these steel plates here, and that is going to help break up all that ice and also help you guys returning. We just have them on the back here, but if you guys put them on the front, just grabbed two of the same exact chain and it'll go on the front. And the nice thing about that is those little steel plates are going to make it really, really easy to get those turns and stops and starts that you guys want. more

Today we're going to be taking a look at the pewag all square mud service snow tire chain on our 2020 Chevrolet Tahoe.So what we have here is a ladder pattern style chain. These are going to get you guys out of all those snowy and icy situations, but also the muddy situations. So let's just say it's a little wet outside and the ground is extremely soft, these are going to be able to handle a lot on-road and off-road.So we are going to have massive seven millimeter links here, and of course, all square links. So they are going to wear away relatively smoothly, but these aren't really going to ride as smooth as some of the smaller square links that we have. The twist links are definitely going to have a little bit better ride quality, but we are going to have better ride quality with the all square snow tire chains compared to the V-Bar style. more

So, this isn't going to be the best for turning and stuff like that. I usually dislike having chains that have a little piece connecting these two here, but that's just me. They're still going to do the job. What makes these different from some of the others is just the massive link size that we get, about 5.6 millimeters, so these are going to be pretty beefy.As you guys can see, it does stick out a decent amount, especially compared to those twist links. more

Today on our 2013 Chevy Tahoe, well be test fitting the Glacier Cable Snow Tire Chains for light trucks, part number PW3027C. Well be test fitting them on 265-70-17 tires. Now this vehicle primarily rear wheel drive, so we will be test fitting the tire chains on the rear tires.To begin our test fit, well lay the chains flat out on the ground to undo any kinks or tangles. This will ensure the tire chains fit correctly around the tire. You can notice here that the yellow indicator tag determines what tire the tire chain should go on. After determining which tire chain goes on what side of the vehicle, well drape the tire chain over the tire. more
